Russia raised from a decade of political and economic disturbances following the collapse of the Soviet Union to reaffirm its status as a global force.The Russian federation is blessed with many natural resources  as it is the largest nation in the world in terms of land area and it has the deepest lake in the world that retain one fifth  of the world  fresh water supply. The Russian climate ranges between the subarctic territories in the north and the warm Steppes areas in the south. It is located in north Asia, bordering China, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Finland, and Mongolia.

The Russian economy suffers huge crisis after the dismantling of the Soviet Union that result in a major drop in the Russian GDP by an aggregate 39 point. However, the governmental expansion trend in 1999 results in the Russian GDP’s rapid rise because of the huge growth in the gas and oil export’s sales, new tax laws, and the expansion in the private investments.
